Last weekend the third round of Belgian Nationals took place at the fast track of RCR. With an excellent forecast, the race was well attended.

Qualifying 1:10 IC : Jonathan Sanza (Xray) was the fastest followed by Debaeker Dimitri (Capricorn) and Benkhélifa Raphaël.

Final 1:10 IC : The 30 minute final of the 1/10th class was won and dominated by Jonathan Sanza , Dimitri De Baeker second and Benkhélifa Raphaël third.

Qualifying 1:8 IC : In the 1/8th class there were 21 drivers, so we had a quarterfinal.
Because no driver went directly to the main final, there was enthusiasm and excitement among pilots to get in the main final.

Arie Manten, qualified third, but was unlucky in the semifinal.

He did not get into the final due to a spur gear problem.
Yves Zoma (Mugen) was the fastest closely followed by Daan Haling (Motonica), Arie Manten (Xray) and Frank Baggen (Serpent). They all drove 28 rounds in 7 minutes.

Final 1:8 IC :.
Yves Zoma in pole position followed by Daan Haling and Frank Baggen. Halfway the final Daan Haling was in lead with a gap of 2 laps on Frank Baggen until his rear drive belt broke and had to give up. Frank Baggen took the lead followed by Nico Vandewynckel (Serpent), who afterwards lost some time and 2 places due to losing his ins-box. After 30 minutes racing ,  it was Frank Baggen who took the victory , Yerna Hugues second en Yves Zoma third.
