Belgian Championship round 1 Rucphen

Ermen & Daniels win Round 1 of Belgian Championship 2017

Same as last year, round 1 from the Belgian Championships was held at the Baanbrekers track at Rucphen.

Every pilot loves riding on this magnificent track.

The weather forecast promised us not so nice weather but the 23 pilots who came over kept themselves dry and sunny.

The  1/10 drivers as always in the best mood went all direct to the finals.

After very close racing in the qualifs, 6 pilots made 19 laps separated by 2 seconds, Eric and Ludovic both made 108 laps followed by Olivier and Thierry with both 105 laps.

1/8

John Ermen came over to race on his home track.

Robin D’hondt, first time out this year, tested out some new innovations.

After the qualifs 4 seconds divided John, Gunther and Robin, followed by Augustin.

Donny won the semifinal for Nico and Yves.

Although   Robin was the fastest man on track, 2 bad coming together and a stalling motor made he had to let go John who drove a flawless race, Augustin came in third followed by Gunther.

See You in Genk  on 7 May.
